Rapid diagnosis and treatment service for patients who are seriously injured or fall ill. Conditions treated in A&E departments range from suspected broken bones to suspected heart attack.
Provides full assessment, treatment and resuscitation facilities for dealing with patients with medical and surgical/traumatic emergencies and minor injuries with access to medical assessment unit bay on Balcombe ward for GP medical referrals.
